About the Berkeley Heights Community Pool

Get set to splash, swim and dive into the pool! The Berkeley Heights Community Pool is getting ready for a fun summer in 2016!

Established in 1964, BHCP has served families in Berkeley Heights and surrounding neighborhoods every summer. We offer an olympic-size swimming pool featuring two diving boards and two slides. Our shallow end is 2.5 feet deep, perfect for our pre-schoolers learning to swim. We also have a baby pool for our youngest swimmers.

Your children will love our swim team, or sign them up for swimming, diving and tennis lessons. Come enjoy our adult early bird swim at 7:00 am, or just relax on our beautiful grounds.

Our facility includes a full service snack bar, onsite basketball and tennis courts, tetherball, horseshoes and shuffleboard courts, as well as daily activities for all ages.

The Berkeley Heights Community Pool was founded in 1964 by an energetic group of residents who wanted to provide a safe, fun, relaxing summer setting for the town to enjoy.

As from the beginning, BHCP is funded entirely by membership fees, including joining fees and guest fees.  We do not receive taxpayer funds.  We do not generate profits, and set our membership fees to cover the costs of running the pool.   In the event we do have extra funds, these are directed back into the pool for capital improvements.
