The Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA Swim Evaluation

Each season, all swimmers below the age of 14 are REQUIRED to take a swim evaluation administered by the BHCP Management. Swimmers will be evaluated based on their current swimming abilities. Swim Bracelets with specific colors are then issued to swimmers ages 3-14 based on their current swimming ability, not age. Swim evaluations are available daily at 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM; 3:15 PM; 5:00 PM.

Swim Evaluation Preparation Clinics

Swim Clinics are intended to help swimmers learn the requirements to successfully pass the BHCP Swim Evaluation. 30 Minute guided group clinics show and demonstrate the skills swimmers need to complete the Swim Evaluation successfully.  These are a great way for swimmers to learn the skills to continue practicing on their own or brush up on skills and receive some tips for passing the Swim Evaluation.
